The 2014-15 NBA season is getting ready to begin and there are plenty of stories to keep an eye on throughout the course of the season. Obviously LeBron James returning to Cleveland is the main story, but there are plenty more to watch. Another thing to keep an eye on throughout the course of the season is all of the players playing in a contract year that could move around next offseason.

There are quite a few big names that could be on the free agent market next offseason, but not all of them will be. Player options and restricted free agency are things that allow players to hit the free agent market, but they can always end up staying with their current team. That will be the case with at least a couple of the top ten free agents that could hit the market next offseason.

All of that being said, it is always fun taking a look ahead at free agency and thinking about the player shuffling that could happen. It will be a very intriguing offseason to say the least, and it could be just as busy as this past offseason was.

Who are the top 10 players that are going to be playing in a contract year during the 2014-15 season?
